VINCI Energies Deutschland takes over majority share of ATHOS Unternehmensberatung GmbH

Frankfurt/Sindelfingen, 9th November 2017

With retroactive effect as of 01/01/2017 VINCI Energies Deutschland, part of the French concession and construction group VINCI, took over the majority share of ATHOS Unternehmensberatung GmbH on 10/19/2017. The company, which has its headquarters in Sindelfingen, remains autonomous, and the existing executive board will continue the management of the company. As such, ATHOS is a part of Axians, the VINCI Energies brand dedicated to ICT solutions. With the takeover, Axians consistently pursues its alignment as a digital innovation driver, with the objective of supporting customers with demand-driven solutions and consultation within the context of digital transformation.

ATHOS has been a supplier of customized software solutions for many years, in addition to providing consultation and services for all waste management-related tasks. The industry know-how, the consultancy competence and the software solutions span all business sectors of municipal, industrial waste and disposal management as well as operational waste management in the large and medium-sized industry’s residuals-creating companies. With their respective area of focus on IT consulting, informatics and waste management, more than 50 highly-qualified members of staff are available for consultation, project planning, product development and support.

With regard to the implementation of Smart City and Smart Industry projects, so as to succeed at the complete digitalization of the process sequences, know-how and experienced ICT specialists are needed. Thanks to this, in combination with the service offers of the business units already belonging to Axians, customers have the possibility of realizing such projects from a single source. The expertise for this is offered, e.g. by the teams of the Axians eWaste, Axians Infoma and Axians IT Solutions units, as well as by other business areas of VINCI Energies like electro-technology and automation technology, energy infrastructures or facility management.
