Axians Infoma 2018 professional conference emphasizes digitization

Digitization is a key topic of our times, and a challenge companies, society, and the public sector alike must face. Digitization was also the focus of the comprehensive program of presentations, workshops, and evening events at the 2018 Axians Infoma professional conference in Ulm in September.

“We digitize financial processes” is more than just a slogan; it reflects the mission behind our digital agenda. Our goal is to help customers view digitization as an ongoing process of modernization, offering them support for components we have developed or will be developing. The first day of the conference started with an update on our digitization strategy and a presentation of our new digitization solutions to bring our employees who had arrived from many different locations up to date.

The second day was characterized by different kinds of group work, primarily focused on project collaboration as well as on fun. 115 employees from development and product management attended a “hackathon” – a cross between “marathon” and “hack” for the new development environment of the future, becoming familiar with it for the first time. For the areas of Consulting and Sales (including Presales), in contrast, the focus was on the topics of project standards and internal collaboration.

Once again this year, the professional conference impressively showcased the innovative capabilities of Axians Infoma when it comes to digitization – a topic which paves the way towards a secure future for our customers and employees.
