City of Mölln has a positive experience switching to Infoma newsystem

“Innovative and integrated” were the requirements for the new financial software in the city of Mölln. Project managers decided to introduce the software because the former provider underwent a merger, resulting in service issues. The city, home to literary character Till Eulenspiegel, chose Axians Infoma and the Infoma newsystem financial accounting after a presentation by two manufacturers.

Multiple factors played a role in their decision. In addition to pricing, the Schleswig-Holstein city was impressed not only by the fully integrated facility management module, but also the option of using integrated data output for IKVS via Infoma newsystem as an IKVS customer. The fact that all customer service personnel of the former provider had switched over to Axians Infoma and could advise them on both systems during the transition phase was the icing on the cake.

Financial accounting and budgeting, product budgeting, disposition, fixed-asset accounting, cost and performance accounting, invoice workflow and the facility management and municipal departments processes have been in use since 2018. As an initial review, the city with roughly 19,000 inhabitants in the vacation region of Lauenburg feels its expectations for Infoma newsystem as a modern, user-friendly software have been fulfilled. Project managers see major additional benefits for their administration, especially in the numerous different evaluation options and integrated professional modules.
