The city of Altena is making changes! On the path towards integrated work with Axians Infoma

Altena, with its medieval fortress, is a city for the generations. Located in North Rhine Westphalia, the town offers its roughly 17,000 inhabitants a home with a high quality of living and great recreational opportunities.

At the end of last year, Altena was searching for a modern CAFM software. Specifically, features like rental management and the ability to calculate utility costs on a pro-rated basis, for specific time periods, and with a legally conforming utility cost report was key for the city. Altena also wanted to take advantage of billing per unit and be able to freely define its own utility cost and allocation formula.

The city quickly decided on facility management by Axians Infoma to replace its previous system – with the goal of being able to fully integrate its work with a modern and professional system in the future.

The simple, modern interface and easy system operations impressed the city, which plans to introduce additional Axians Infoma modules, including financial accounting, after 2017. With this move, there’s nothing stopping the city of Altena and its journey towards the future of integrated work.
