At a glance

The five boroughs of Peenemünde, Karlshagen, Trassenheide, Mölschow and Zinnowitz are combined into the Usedom-North office in the northern part of the Vorpommern-Greifswald district in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern in order to handle their administrative tasks.

Roughly 9,000 inhabitants live in the region served by the office, which is located entirely within the Usedom Nature Park and which is primarily characterized by tourism. With over 11.8 km of the most beautiful and family-friendly bathing beaches on the Baltic and four harbors, the area attracts thousands of vacationers.
